CRL Phase 1

Contract CR102

Scope: Construction of 5 twin bored tunnels between Changi East Industrial Zone (CEIZ), Changi East Depot & Aviation Park station

• Main line tunnel (Eastbound between Aviation Park station & CEIZ)
• Main line tunnel (Westbound between Aviation Park station & CEIZ)
• Reception track 1 (Between Aviation Park station & Changi East depot)
• Reception track 2 (Between Aviation Park station & Changi East depot)
• Reception track 3 (Between CEIZ & Changi East depot)

Contractor: Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co

TBM facts

• 4 Earth Pressure Balance machines would be used
• 1 machine will be used for 2 drives (RT3 & RT2)
• The remaining 3 machines will be used for single drives
• 2 machines will be launched from CEIZ shaft towards AVP station
• 1 machine will be launched from CEIZ shaft towards CE Depot shaft
• 2 machines will be launched CE Depot shaft towards AVP station
• Ultimately, all 4 machines will dock at AVP station

Contract CR105

Scope: Construction of single large diameter bored tunnel from Aviation Park station to Loyang station

Contractor: Taisei - China State Construction Engineering Co joint venture
