CRL1 & CPE - Upcoming traffic diversions (Aug 2025)

Beyond the upcoming road diversion mentioned in our post on the contract CR115 roadshow, several other Cross Island Line (CRL) contracts will be implementing similar diversions at their respective project sites. These changes to the road networks are scheduled to take place between mid & late August. The details after the jump.

Contract CR108 (Pasir Ris) - 15 August 2025

Roads/junctions are involved:

• Pasir Ris Drive 1, between junctions with Pasir Ris Drive 8 & Pasir Ris Central
• Pasir Ris Drive 8, at junction with Pasir Ris Drive 1

What will be moving:

• Pasir Ris Drive 1 will be realigned further south before the junction with Pasir Ris Drive 8
• Pasir Ris Drive 8 will be rerouted over the recently installed traffic decking

Contract CR115 (Tavistock) - 16 August 2025

Roads/junctions are involved:

• Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, eastbound carriageway (i.e. towards Serangoon North, Hougang) between junctions with Central Expressway & Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2

What will be moving: 

• The eastbound carriageway will be shifted further south, where the worksite between both carriageways is currently located.

Contract P103 (Riviera) - 23 August 2025

Roads/junctions are involved: 

• Punggol Central, between the junctions with Punggol East & Edgedale Plains

What will be moving:

• The junction with Punggol East will be shifted further north
• Bus stop 65269 to be shifted along new road alignment

Contract CR112 (Hougang) - 24 August 2025

Roads/junctions are involved: 

• Hougang Central (Major), in front of Hougang bus interchange

What will be moving:

• The road will be shifted further north, to create a new worksite
• The junction with the Hougang bus interchange driveway will be shifted further west, to accommodate the new worksite
• Bus stop 64549 will be shifted further east, nearer to the sheltered pick up & drop off
• Bus stop 64541 will also be shifted further east

Contract CR108 (Pasir Ris) - 30 August 2025

Roads/junctions are involved:

• Pasir Ris Drive 1
• Pasir Ris Street 51

What will be moving:

• The junction of the above 2 roads will be shifted further east

With all the roadways being adjusted, do be mindful when driving past the worksites. As with most road diversions, pedestrian pathways will also be impacted and some time to acclimatise to the changes will be needed.
