Soil Investigation: Loyang

The spread of boreholes in the Loyang area as noted on 1 July 2017 & updated with new rigs seen, as contributed
by Peter48.
A number of boreholes and soil investigation rigs were spotted along Loyang Avenue in 2017. These stretch from the intersection with Pasir Ris Drive 3 near the Loyang Bus depot all the way to the SIA Engineering compound. Some of the boreholes were noted to date back to 2016.

2017.07.01 - Borehole near the Loyang Bus depot along Loyang Avenue. This borehole was
noted to have completed on 13 September 2016.

There are numerous boreholes along the perimeter of the Loyang Bus depot which is located along Loyang Avenue. From here, the boreholes continue northwards to the junction with Loyang Way.

The string of boreholes continues northwards to the SIA Engineering compound before veering towards the east and the the border with Changi Airport. It is expected that the line should enter the Changi Airport development en route to the future Terminal 5 this way.
