CR308 - Second CRL3 contract launched

Yesterday, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) launched the second contract for bid under the Cross Island Line (CRL) phase 3 project. Contract CR308 was released on 28 August 2026, with an initial tender closing date of 4 January 2027. To aid with the understanding which contracts have been released thus far, we have consolidated a list of the contracts released for bids, initial closing dates and delivery dates for reference.

With the release of the second contract for bids, the release rate for CRL3 civil contracts has attained 25% completion. A further 6 contracts remain to be released, covering the construction of the line's western depot and 3 remaining station. It is also likely that there would be 2 contracts covering other remaining works, including but not limited to tunnels and other supporting infrastructure.
