Today, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) released a new flythrough render of the Pasir Ris Cross Island Line (CRL) station. The flythrough video shows how the station's exits will be located conveniently around the residential neighbourhoods as well as how the new station will connect to the existing East-West Line (EWL) station. Notably, there will be 2 connections - similar to that on the EWL and Circle Line (CCL) at Paya Lebar. Unfortunately though, transfer connections at this station require more level changes than at Paya Lebar due to the deeper CRL station.

The interior design in the flythrough video differs from that of initial renders previously released of Pasir Ris station. Additionally, the video does not bring viewers down to the CRL platform levels either, only going as far as the B3 paid transfer level.

We had previously came across a video of the cross section of a CRL station on pedestrian modeling company Ramboll's website. The footprint of the cross section and the station seen in the flythrough stack up, confirming that the cross section shown was indeed of Pasir Ris station.

Here are some screen captures that we have gotten from the new video by LTA. Do check them out for a better view of the station.
