Our last update for Pasir Ris East station under contract CR107 was at the end of 2022. We made a visit right at the end of Q1 2023 and are ready to present to you an update of the site. Since the road closure of a stretch of Pasir Ris Drive 1 between Pasir Ris Drives 2 and 4, work has taken over the former roadway.
Various activities are taking place along the entire stretch with the arrival of hydrofraise frames and a clam shell grabber machine to facilitate diaphragm wall works. There do not appear to be betonite slurry silos or a treatment plant on site yet, hence it is unlikely that these works will begin so soon.
Meanwhile, works for the base of the eventual 10 to 12 metre tall noise barriers can be seen. Concrete bases have been built at various locales, but the installation of the barrier has yet to begin. Photos available after the jump.
