CRL1 & CPE - Official Telegram Channels

Telegram groups have become the new means through which the Land Transport Authority (LTA) has digitised its outreach to stakeholders with new rail projects. The messaging platform has been used as a uni-directional channel through which circulars and updates on the various construction contracts are pushed out to residents, businesses and commuters in the area where construction works are taking place. The first wide-spread adoption was undertaken by the Circle Line Stage 6 (CCL6) project and subsequently adopted by the Jurong Region Line (JRL) as well. It appears that the Cross Island Line (CRL) is using this as well. We attempt to consolidate the links for you to join the Telegram channels as well, which have been rolled out for CRL1 and CPE sections, for which all civil contracts have been awarded thus far. It is assumed that the same will follow for CRL2 once the contracts have been awarded and for CRL3 in due time as well.

Contract CR103 - Aviation Park station (Dormant)
We have found a Telegram channel for Aviation Park station. However, no content has ever been uploaded to the channel. Additionally, we are unable to tell if this is an official channel set up by the LTA & Contractor.

Contract CR106 - Loyang station (Dormant)
We have found a Telegram channel for Loyang station, tunnels & portion of Loyang viaduct above the station. However, no content has ever been uploaded apart from a render as the display picture.

Contract CR108 - Pasir Ris station
Unlike the above 2 Telegram channels, we have been able to verify that the below channels are indeed legitimate & somewhat active. There may be a higher chance that our Blog, Instagram & Facebook pages may feature updates before the Telegram channel does. But doesn't hurt to have more sources of information now, does it?

Contract CR109 - Tampines North station
Similar to the Telegram channel for Pasir Ris (Central) station, we have verified that this channel is legitimate and also somewhat active. You'll note that the QR code for this channel differs in design from the others - this is because the channel is not set up with a quick shareable link that comes in the form of a QR code, unlike the other channels thus far. SgMC took the liberty to find a way to enable easy sharing for your convenience, generating a QR code that can be scanned to bring you directly to the channel.

provided shareable links within, hence we had to generate QR codes of our
own for the various channels to enable us to share the links with you.

As per the summary table at the beginning of the post, we have gone through to search the global availability of the contract numbers, station names and other combinations to check if there are any Telegram channels created for the various stations. There are several channels where the QR codes are unavailable and we do not have the links to generate QR codes for easy scanning either. However, you may decide to search for these channels on Telegram instead:

CRL-Pasir Ris East station = Contract CR107 Telegram channel name

CRL-Tavistock station = Contract CR115 Telegram channel name

CPe Riviera station & tunnel _ P103 = Contract P103 Telegram channel name

We hope that the above helps in getting you the relevant information on the various contracts through official means, especially if you stay around the upcoming stations.
