CRL1 - A snapshot in August 2023

Overview of CRL1 stations CR4 - CR13 as at August 2023.
Top (L - R): CR4 - Pasir Ris East, CR5/CP1 - Pasir Ris, CR6 - Tampines North
Middle (L - R): CR7 - Defu, CR8 - Hougang, CR9 - Serangoon North
Bottom (L - R): CR11 - Ang Mo Kio, CR12 - Teck Ghee, CR13 - Bright Hill

Since you seemed to enjoy the snapshot feature on the Jurong Region Line (JRL), we'll give this a try for the Cross Island Line (CRL) as well. With time, the 3 CRL Punggol Extension (CPE) stations can also be featured together with the 6 CRL2 stations in future updates. But that is still some time away as yet. For the moment, here's the snapshot of 9 CRL1 stations as of August 2023.

CR4 - Pasir Ris East (Contract CR107)
In a nutshell: Diaphragm walling works have begun and are in progress. This should last for approximately 1 to 2 years.

CR5 | CP1 - Pasir Ris (Contract CR108)
In a nutshell: Preparatory works are underway for a major traffic diversion coming up in October 2023.

CR6 - Tampines North (Contract CR109)
In a nutshell: Construction of the northern launch shaft (tunnels towards Pasir Ris) diaphragm walls have been completed. Works are now focused on construction of the diaphragm walls for the southern launch shaft (tunnels towards Facility Building 3).

In a nutshell: Site preparation works are ongoing following the implementation of road diversions.

CR8 - Hougang (Contract CR112)
In a nutshell: Diaphragm walling works are ongoing. Concurrently, casting of the various levels of ring slabs & excavation within the launch shaft is continuing.

In a nutshell: Works are proceeding with the creation of guide walls for diaphragm wall excavation.

CR11 - Ang Mo Kio (Contract CR116)
In a nutshell: Diaphragm walls are in progress for several exits. Re-modeling work is ongoing at the existing station.
