| 24 April 2022 - Viaduct protection works at Jurong East |
According to a new circular seen, viaduct protection works are to be carried out at both ends of Pasir Ris East-West Line station from 17 May 2022. These will help to facilitate the platform extension works in preparation for converting the station into an interchange with paid links from platform level to the transfer level of the upcoming Cross Island Line station.

According to the circular, works are to be conducted until 20 July 2022.
