Contract CR111 is for the construction of Defu station and twin bored tunnels towards Hougang station. The contract was awarded to a joint venture between Gamuda Berhad Singapore Branch and Wai Fong Construction in February 2022. Since then, concrete barriers have been placed on site and fencing has been atop the barriers.
