The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has recently published the Environmental Impact Study (EIS) reports on their website. Within the reports were a few renders of Turf City and King Albert Park stations. Other details were also unveiled within the reports, such as the stations at Maju & Turf City potentially having cripple sidings integrated into the stations and a future knock out panel being provisioned for a "paid link" at Maju station. A heritage study report by the Urban Redevelopment Authority did not yield any other results.

On SSC Forums, a user had also shared an image showing several renders of the West Coast station.

If you were curious why as of late, we have not received as many renders of stations during alignment announcements from LTA, this is due to the type of contracts being called. Take for example the contracts issued for the Thomson-East Coast Line, of which stage 3 will open next month. The majority of the contracts called for the line are for the construction of stations and/or associated tunnels. Only 3 contracts were issued as "Design & Build" (D&B) contracts - T209, T210 & T211 contracts to D&B Lentor, Mayflower & Bright Hill stations respectively.

As the contracts for the Cross Island Line (CRL) are likely to be D&B contracts, the final designs of the stations shall be proposed by the winning contractors. During the design consultancy stage of planning the line prior to announcement, the consultant provides information on the optimal layout of the future stations. Some general renders may be produced to give an idea of how the station might look and allow authorities to visualize the spatial use. The winning contractors however, have a greater deal of autonomy in deciding a theme or design for the eventual station - some examples on the Downtown Line (DTL) would be Little India carrying the Sari theme & Rochor carrying the microchip theme.
