SINGAPORE - The Land Transport Authority (LTA) on 30th September 2022, awarded the contract for the design & construction of Riviera station and associated tunnels to a joint venture of Taisei & China State Construction Engineering. The contract, P103, includes the construction of a large diameter single bored tube tunnel from Elias to Punggol station, a length of approximately 4.3km. The LTA has assured the public that steps will be taken to ensure that works are done with safety at the forefront.

  1. Actually, they can just use another name for that MRT station. No need to name after a nearby LRT station, where most people won't even connect to the MRT via that LRT station, or vice versa; most probably will connect via the local bus network instead, which would be more convenient.

    1. I prefer that both have the same name as each other. Weird for them to be named differently.
